Who wouldn´t want to have 4 times more memory?

Imagine you have 4 times larger memory. How would you feel? So much space for storing more information. Well, would not be that a wonderful? For programmable GSM modules TC65 and Cinterion EGS5 this is almost reality. In December 2011 a modified version of TC65-X and X-EGS5 Release 2 with 4 times larger memory start to be produced.

New version TC65i-X a EGS5-X

The original version reigned by 400 KB RAM and 1.7 MB Flash. Memory of upcoming version is expanded to 2 MB RAM and 8 MB Flash. Click on the picture below, to go through all the areas which has changed and improved compared to previous versions.
