SECTRON EMA Is Changing the World of Electromobility
SECTRON introduces a new electromobility management platform, SECTRON EMA (ElectroMobility Administrator powered by AMPECO), which brings a comprehensive solution for managing charging infrastructure for companies, municipalities, and vehicle fleets.
The platform is built on the open communication standard OCPP, enabling efficient management of charging stations across various manufacturers and locations. Furthermore, thanks to roaming partners, it provides users with the ability to charge not only at their own corporate stations but also within an extensive partner network.
SECTRON EMA offers centralized charging management, monitoring, remote device management, user management, an overview of energy consumption, and advanced authorization options. The platform is suitable for companies building an internal charging infrastructure, cities and municipalities developing public charging, as well as vehicle fleet operators.
Our goal is to offer customers an open and long-term sustainable system that connects their own infrastructure with the public roaming ecosystem. This gives the user maximum flexibility and the ability to charge practically anywhere," says a representative of SECTRON.
The technological partner of the solution is AMPECO, whose platform is currently used by major charging network operators not only in Europe.
Compatibility with Wallboxes and Portable Charging
Part of the SECTRON EMA solution is also the compatibility with OlifeEnergy and MyBox charging stations, as well as the newly upcoming SECTRON NEXUS portable charger.
SECTRON NEXUS is a smart portable AC charger for electric vehicles with an output of up to 11 kW, supporting OCPP 1.6-J, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, RFID authorization, and dynamic load management via ModBus TCP. The charger is designed for both personal and professional use, allowing remote management through the SECTRON NEXUS mobile application.
The device offers:
- Output up to 11 kW
- Current adjustment ranging from 6 to 16 A
- IP67 protection rating
- Integrated residual current protection Type A, AC 30 mA + DC 6 mA
- Support for RFID, PIN, and Plug & Charge
- Communication via OCPP 1.6-J
- Remote management via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
Thanks to the integration with the SECTRON EMA platform, customers will be able to manage both stationary wallboxes and mobile charging devices within a single centralized system.
Electromobility Without Limits
SECTRON EMA responds to the growing demand for unified electromobility management and it offers the customers the opportunity to build their own infrastructure without being dependent on a single hardware manufacturer.
At the same time, the open OCPP standard allows for easy expansion of the charging infrastructure and future integration of additional technologies and services.
